FEATURED EXHIBITIONS

At the heart of the San Diego County Fair, our agricultural and educational exhibits bring hands-on learning to life, showcasing the core of our mission to connect and inspire the community. These featured custom curated exhibits highlight both the 2025 San Diego County Fair's "Summer Pet-tacular" theme as well as local agriculture. The theme exhibit celebrates the special bond between humans and the animals we welcome into our home and hearts. Two agriculturally-focused exhibits highlight local farming and the dedicated farmers behind the food, fiber, flowers and more that make their way from the farm to our homes.

Exhibition buildings open at 11am and close at 10pm daily.

THE FARM

Nestled in the outskirts of Family Funville, away from the hustle and bustle of the carnival, you'll find Fairview Farms. This oasis of agriculture is where birds, bees and butterflies soar over fruits, vegetables and flowers blooming, ripening and ready to inspire kids of all ages to learn a little something about how their food grows.

COMPETITIVE EXHIBITIONS

Artistic expression is on display throughout our wide variety of competitive exhibitions! Marvel at the creativity, craftsmanship, and sometimes just a bit wacky items on display. In each exhibition you'll find hands-on workshops, docent tours, and organizations willing to introduce you to a new craft or hobby.

Exhibition buildings open at 11am and close at 10pm daily.

DESIGN IN WOOD

This international exhibition in partnership with San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association features furniture, models, musical instruments, clocks and more. Interactive demonstrations happen throughout the day.

FINE ART

The Exhibition of Fine Art is a highly competitive and extremely popular juried competition featuring both 2-D and 3-D entries. The artwork includes many variations of drawing, painting, mixed media, sculptures, ceramics and more.

FLOWER SHOW

Beautiful specimen blooms, floral designs, orchids and floral-inspired vignettes are on display in the Paul Ecke Jr. Flower Show.

GARDEN SHOW

The Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show features garden displays created by professionals, amateurs, garden clubs and students. Find ideas to incorporate at home in your very own yard!

GEMS, MINERALS & JEWELRY

A vast array of mineral specimens, faceted gemstones, lapidary work, fossils and jewelry are on display and many are for sale. Don't miss the fluorescent mineral display...you'll awe at the colors found in nature!

HOME ARTS & HOBBIES

Home Arts & Hobbies celebrates home arts, and includes hand-crafted quilts, collections, table settings, miniatures & models, decorative arts & crafts, needle art, sewing, weaving & felting, preserved foods and baked goods.

LIVESTOCK

Visit our working livestock barns where you'll find 4-H, FFA and Grange members caring for their animals. Learn about livestock including small animals like rabbits and poultry, to large animals like horses and cattle...and of course, don't forget the GOAT.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The Exhibition of Photography is an international juried exhibition of original color and black-and-white photographs with a wide variety of subjects including seasons, sports, still life, fair memories and fair-theme inspired photos.

STUDENT SHOWCASE

San Diego County schools are doing some amazing projects, and the San Diego County Fair is showcasing their work! Educators from Grammar School through Community College enter their students' work to be featured in this inclusive exhibition.
