In 2025, nearly 680 community members of all ages donned dog ears, cat whiskers and pet-themed onesies to help us promote the San Diego County Fair. Together, we installed more than 1,100 banners across 26 communities throughout San Diego County, in coordination with nonprofit partners including business improvement districts, cities and other community organizations.

Applications are now being accepted from community leaders to nominate their group to be part of the 2026 San Diego County Fair Street Banner Program.

In order to participate, your organization should already be responsible for managing a street banner program in your local community.

Would you like your community to be involved in 2026? There is no cost to participate!

THE FAIR PROVIDES:
  • Staffed photography shoot at your location, complete with backdrop and theme-related props
  • Banner artwork design (includes your organization's logo)
  • Printing, installation and removal of banners on your designated street posts
YOUR ORGANIZATION PROVIDES:
  • A minimum of 10 banner spaces on street poles and required hardware
  • Photo shoot location and coordination of featured community participants (invitation, scheduling, photo releases)
  • Distribution of banners to participants upon completion of program
Each individual participant receives 2 free Fair admission tickets, plus their printed banner after the Fair.
