San Diego Archers present the San Diego Open Archery Competition

Join the San Diego Archers for the San Diego Open, a two-part archery tournament featuring a 3D course (12:00–3:00 PM) and an Olympic-style target round (4:00–7:00 PM). The 3D event consists of a 20-target course with one arrow per target, featuring realistic self-healing foam animal targets (deer, bears, turkeys and occasional fantasy/extinct animals); scoring uses X/10/8/5/0 rings (X = 10 and X-counts used as tie-breakers), with a single-arrow shoot-off (closest to center) if needed. The evening session is a 50-meter paper target round with 122 cm faces for Recurve & Barebow and 80 cm (6-ring) faces for Compound. Competitors may enter in Compound, Recurve, or Barebow divisions. First through third place prizes will be awarded separately for each part of the tournament (3D and Olympic-style) in each equipment division.
