Boombox Cartel is an internationally recognized Mexican American producer known for blending electronic and hip-hop music with Latin influences. He broke out in 2015 when Jack Ü played his track “B2U” at Hard Fest, quickly earning support from major artists across dance music. He followed with standout releases including “Supernatural” with Quix and Anjulie, and his 2017 debut EP, Cartel, featuring fan favorites like “Alamo” and “Jefe.”
In 2019, Boombox Cartel launched his biggest headline run to date, The Cell Tour, a sold-out U.S. bus tour with full stage production and synchronized visuals. He has since performed at top festivals worldwide, including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas and Mexico, Sunburn, and Creamfields.
Known for pushing boundaries through genre-blending production, Boombox Cartel has collaborated with artists such as Dillon Francis, DMX, MadeInTYO, NGHTMRE, and Panama. With releases on labels including Mad Decent, OWSLA, and Spinnin’, and coverage from Billboard, Noisey, Complex, and DJ Mag, he continues to expand his global reach and influence in dance music.
