We have a delicious competition guaranteed to get your taste buds buzzing!

We asked our food concessionaires to enter culinary creations in three distinct categories, each with two classes: SWEET & SAVORY.

• THEME: We’re celebrating the great outdoors this year, and if you’ve ever slept under the stars you’ve probably cooked over open fire. Whether you’ve enjoyed campfire chili, BBQ or s’mores, themed culinary creations are inspired by campfire cooking or our favorite State or National Parks!

• WOW: In the words of Bonnie Raitt, “Let’s give them something to talk about!” We’ve all drooled over some awe-inspiring menu item we’ve seen on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, amiright? These foods are often colorful, creative, ethnically-inspired, or over-the top in some crazy way.

• VALUE: These days, we're all looking for a good deal and more bang for our buck through meal deals or sharable portions.

A panel of judges—lead by award winning food critic, Food Network judge, and owner of San Diego Magazine, Troy Johnson—crowned the winning entries on-site at the San Diego County Fair. Now it's your turn to visit the Fair and add some of these tasty treats to your day!
