Learning & Activity Centers

Scarecrow's Vegetable Garden grows rows and rows of fruits & vegetables growing in the Scarecrows Garden. Some of the different varieties include tomatoes, green beans, snap peas, lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, artichokes, cauliflower, broccoli, and more.

Sunflower Farms Classroom & Potting Shed Stage
These educatinoal and fun outdoor learning centers will feature gardening demonstrations, tips & tricks, and learning lectures on incredible topics like beekeeping, pollinator plants and more!

Sunflower Farms Lounge & Gardens

The Sunflower Farms Lounge is the perfect place to relax in the sun, surrounded by sunflowers, lavender and geraniums. Why do sunflowers face east and west at dusk? You'll find out here! This comfortable spot, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the carnival, is the perfect place to relax and take the most flowerful of photos.

Edible Gardens filled with herbs and edible flowers are grown in containers and baskets. Take home recipes for tasty treats you can make with herbs and flowers grown in your own garden...nothing tastes better than food grown (and made!) in your own home!

Alice's Teapot Tea Garden is where you'll learn about all the plants you can grow in your own garden to make teas. Many different varieties of mints, herbs, and edible flowers will be growing in this unique garden.

Retro Succulent Garden may inspire you to plant succulents in unique containers, hanging macramé and vintage pots — right in your own backyard!

Birds, Bees, Bugs and Butterflies

Bees & Honey
Hear that buzz? That's the sound of bees flapping their wings on their way back to work in the garden. These important insects not only produce the ooey, gooey, sweet honey we love to drip on our morning biscuits, but also help pollinate about $15 billion worth of crops in the United States each year. Now that's something to buzz about! Buzz on over to the Bees & Honey Barn, filled with interesting facts about these fascinating creatures, check out the Pollinator Gardens and the Bee Hotels.

Backyard Bug Adventure • Wonder through this bigger than life adventure. Meet Sally, the giant Snail, and her friends, Betty, the Bumble Bee, Manny, the Praying Mantis, Rondie, the Rhino Bettle and more.

Pollinator Hotels & Gardens • Various shapes of unusual hotels create sustainable, safe and comfortable environments for pollinating birds and bugs. Now that's a new take on Air Bee and Bee! Trellises of flowers and cascading vines grow ripe with flowers to attract birds, bees, bugs and butterflies.

Pygmy Goat Bungalows & Schoolyard

A farm just isn't a farm without animals! Meet our most playful residents—Pygmy Goats! These fun-loving Pygmies love to spend time in their "schoolyard" treehouse, hopping on stumps, pallets or anything else they can climb on or jump from.
