Dare Devil and Circus roots date back to 1840 where their family created Switzerland's first circus and outdoor Thrill Show.
Father, Eugene Nock Sr. performed for Queen Elizabeth in London England. It was the Queen’s comments that gave them their now famous name. That was because after the Royal Command Performance, she said, “you are simply Nerveless”.
The Nerveless Nocks Sway Poles headlined Ringling Bros Circus from 1954 through 1957, and in the early '60s they performed on the Ed Sullivan Show with The Beatles, the highest rated show in Ed Sullivan's history.
The Nerveless Nocks were personally hired by Roy and Walt Disney to produce their Sway Pole Show at the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair. Over the last 50 plus years the Nerveless Nocks have performed virtually in every state and most county fairs nationally and in Canada. Often this has been with a variety of other acts as well as sway poles.
Today the Nerveless Nocks consist of Angelina & Cyrus, the grandchildren, and Michelangelo Nock, the son, who can do every act in the show, himself. These amazing, dare devil acts are now performed by the second and third generation of Nerveless Nocks Sway Pole Dare Devils.
Recently, The Nerveless Nocks were featured on Americas Got Talent, Extreme. The show’s creator Simon Cowell, the world’s most important entertainment producer, called The Nerveless Nocks “one of the scariest acts we've ever seen”.
The Nerveless Nocks are considered, by many, to be the greatest Thrill Show attraction in history. Exchanging Sway Poles at 80 feet in the air with no nets or safety gear is spectacular and a must see if you are a thrill show enthusiast.
