Large landscapes incorporate ideas like water conservation, organic practices and sustainability, and colorful plant material suitable for San Diego County.

Find inspiration for small spaces like patios and balconies as well...You'll find big inspiration in small containers! Garden exhibitors think outside of the box, using creative containers full of artistic and colorful plant displays.

Get ideas for your own backyard! Stroll through the dozens of displays with landscape, hardscape and water feature ideas. You're sure to be inspired to spruce up your own yard.

SAN DIEGO GARDEN RAILWAY SOCIETY

Journey down America's highway—Route 66—by rail! Start in St. Louis, Missouri and end up in sunny Los Angeles, California. This miniaturized version of Route 66 is a wonderland of imagination, with intriguing details sure to entertain kids and kids-at-heart!

CONTAINER PLANTS

Small gardens can make a big impact! This display of container plants and gardens will inspire you to look at small spaces in a whole new way. Why not create your own magical fairy garden or include a fun container filled with colorful flowers on your entry way, balcony or patio?

ALVARADO HOUSE

Get a glimpse of Del Mar's past with a visit through the historic Alvarado House, open daily from 11am–5pm. Docents from the Del Mar Historical Society are on hand to tell the story of this noteworthy residence.

SAVE OUR WATER

By saving water, you'll not only help the environment, but will also save on your water bill! Visit the Save Our Water booth to find out about state initiatives and incentives for drought-tolerant landscaping. Take a photo on the blue bear bench while you're there!

CHILDREN'S GARDEN

Plant a radish or participate in the daily release of lady bugs in the Children's Garden.
