Have you ever traveled to a stunning location, only to come home disappointed with your photos? Great landscape photography is about more than beautiful scenery — it’s about telling a story. To create images that connect with viewers, you need to understand how composition, light, color, and exposure work together. We’ll explore how to use leading lines, framing, weather, timing, and color to create depth, mood, and emotion in your photographs.

If you attended my workshop last year, welcome back! Don’t worry if you missed it — I’ll briefly revisit a few of the key concepts as both a refresher and an introduction for new attendees.

We’ll dive into several new topics, including AI in photography — how to use it positively to improve your editing and strengthen your images. We’ll discuss how AI can be used as a positive tool, not to create fake landscapes, but to help you evaluate composition, improve your edits, and train your eye as a photographer. We’ll also talk about copyright and why it’s important.
