Born in Chicago, Steve arrived in Southern California in 1955 at the age of four with his parents and has remained in the Sunshine State ever since. His dad was the family photographer, and Steve followed in his path. Upon graduating from SDSU with a Master’s, Steve went to work as a writer producer for American Honda. In 2008, along with his spouse, Elena, he marketed his photographic skills, founding San Diego Photo Tours. Expecting it to be a part time endeavor, it immediately became a full-time job, generating a local as well as international following. During the eight-year run of the business, the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, and La Jolla became the most popular locations clients enjoyed.
