This year, the San Diego County Fair challenges YOU to "Get Out There!" and experience what living in San Diego is all about—enjoying the great outdoors!

Do you love:

Hiking Cowles Mountain at sunrise?
Gliding along Mission Bay in your kayak?
Off-roading on the dunes of Ocotillo Wells?
Cycling along the 101?

No matter what your activity of choice, we want to reward YOU for "getting out there" and enjoying the great outdoors and all that life in SoCal has to offer.

"GET OUT THERE!" & WIN

Snap pictures while you're out-and-about recreating at the beaches, the mountains, the deserts...or maybe it's right down the street in your own neighborhood park! Then, share your pictures with us below.

WINNER WINNER—You'll be entered to win a VIP experience for four with Switchfoot on July 3 and a $500 gift card for recreational gear from Dick's Sporting Goods.

"GET OUT THERE!" BUTTON—Check in at the Welcome Center at the San Diego County Fair's theme exhibit to pick up your "Get Out There!" button.

FAIR FAMOUS—We'll feature selected photos on the Fair's social media pages and in our "Get Out There!" theme exhibit.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

STEP 1

Visit an outdoor park or recreation area and snap photos (selfies encouraged!). Share your pics on social media — tag us @sdfair and hashtag #getouttheresdfair

STEP 2

Fill out the form below and don't forget to include your favorite photo from your park visit!

STEP 3

Visit the "Welcome Center" in the San Diego County Fair's Theme Exhibit any day of the Fair to pick up your "Get Out There!" Button and look for your photo on the big screen!

STEP 4

Check your email on June 19 — we'll notify our Grand Prize winner that day!
