Date: June 09, 2023
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

by mary & les anderson

Location(s):
Over the next 3 to 4 years, Earth will experience the peak of the 11-year solar sunspot cycle. This will greatly increase the frequency and magnitude of Auroras on Earth. If seeing and photographing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) is on your bucket list, which it should be, now is the time to capture it! Our workshop will provide you with an understanding of what is involved in planning your trip including locations, timing, gear, settings, and forecasting sources. Even if you can’t make it to the far north for better odds, you should prepare yourself for when strong Aurora activity slides down into the continental USA, as it did in March. The same techniques we teach will also help you with other dark sky phenomenon capture. Let us share our decades of experience with you.
