Courtney Poissant is a singer/songwriter and Southern California native who has had the opportunity to perform her music for audiences of varying sizes and cultures. Having grown up in a rural part of Southern California and living in Texas for a time, she is a country girl at heart. Making music that speaks to life’s situations, she writes and performs in a unique style that combines both country and jazz. Sharing her soul from the stage is her passion and a place of purpose in her life, where she can create music that is honest and relatable. Competing in competitions as a member of the West Coast Country Music Association, she has received awards both for Songwriting and Performance. Her mission and drive is to reach others with her music, and if it can bring a smile and brighten someone’s day, she feels her goal has been accomplished. By creating music with an open and transparent heart, she hopes to bring joy and be a part of the lives she encounters along the way.
