Sponsorship Opportunities

Your company can reach the Fair's 1.5 million visitors through many different types of sponsorships. The Fairgrounds has a sponsorship office that is staffed year-round.

Vendor and Commercial Spaces

If you have an unusual product or food item, we’d like to consider it. All applicants go through a selection process based on several factors. The application period runs annually from early December through mid-March. Please click the link below for more information.

Competitive Exhibitors

Winning a blue ribbon is a long-loved tradition of county fairs. Entry information is posted annually as it becomes available, starting in late January. Registration deadlines begin in early April and run through mid-May.

Performers and Entertainers

The Fair features nearly 24,000 performers, from nationally known bands to children’s dance troupes. Applicants go through a selection process based on several factors. The application period runs from early January through late March.

Job Opportunities

The Fair employs about 1,800 people. If you are enthusiastic and like people, we would welcome you to apply to be part of the team that brings the community the San Diego County Fair. The Fair begins hiring in January for some jobs, but the majority of the hiring begins in April for jobs during the Fair (June and July).

Opening Ceremonies

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts raise the flags at the daily opening ceremonies, and singers and instrumentalists can apply to perform the National Anthem.

Non-Profit Organizations

The San Diego County Fair has space for organizations to introduce their message to Fairgoers through displays, literature, or personal contact. For a small processing charge, organizations may use a 10' by 10' booth space during all or part of the 26-day event.
