More than 8,000 projects from San Diego County schools are judged and displayed each year in this exhibit that features the work of students from 7th grade through community college, making it the largest student show on the West Coast with more than 110 divisions.
Competitive divisions include vocational education such as art, graphic design, websites, photography, woodworking, metal shop, auto shop, computer-assisted drafting (CAD), architecture, fashion design, yearbooks, school newspapers and more. A major feature is the Summer of Robotics, where student-built robots compete to complete a course or task.

Hours: Fair opening to 10:00PM. The exhibit stays open until 11:00PM Fridays and Saturdays and until midnight on July 4.

The Summer of Robotics is a multi-day series of robotic contests and scrimmages using student-built robots. Unless otherwise noted, all take place at Surfside Race Place Sports Club, located on the northeast corner of the Fair, near the Del Mar Arena.

Mission Vista High School creative arts program will present several music and drama performances on the Plaza Stage between 11:00AM and 2:00PM, Sunday, June 8.
Palomar College Fashion Show, Saturday, June 14, 1:00-2:00PM, west end of the exhibit. See fashion designs from Palomar College students.
Mesa College Beauty School, Friday, June 20, 11:00AM-4:00PM, in the yearbook displayt area. Students will give free haircuts and manicures.
