Gourmet Food Truck Festival

Please note: The information on this page pertains to the 2012 San Diego County Fair, which was June 8-July 4, 2012. Information for the 2013 Fair will be available sometime in the spring. Information on this page is subject to change for 2013.

Sample some of the best food on four wheels at the Fair's first Food Truck Festival! We'll have about 30 trucks from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego County, serving up what they do best.

Date: Monday, July 2, 2012
Time: Noon-4:00PM, or until the food runs out
Cost: Fair admission, plus the cost of what you buy. Food items generally will be in the range of $5.00-$10.00.
Location: Infield

A few tips, so you'll get the most out of the event:
• Cash is the preferred form of payment. Some trucks can accept credit/debit cards, but not all. ATM machines are located throughout the Fair, but none will be in the Festival area.
• We'll have shade and places to sit, plus a craft-beer beer garden
• Porta Potties will be in the Festival area; bathrooms are in the Infield out of the Festival area. Because there is no charge to enter the Festival area, you can come and go as you like, but you may not take alcohol out of the area.
• The Fair (and the Festival area) does not allow smoking or pets.
