Taking public transportation to work?

During the Fair, employees have many options for taking public transportation to work. Please see the Public Transportation page of the Fair Web site for more information.

I-9/Work Permit Requirements

If you are selected for employment you will be required to furnish documents that establish your identity and eligibility to work in the United States, in compliance with the Immigration and Reform Act of 1986. Some of the documents that may be used to establish identity or eligibility include:

• U.S. Passport.
• Driver's license or ID card issued by a state.
• School ID card with photograph.
• U.S. Social Security card.
• Original or certified copy of a birth certificate.
• Certificate of U.S. Citizenship.

You will NOT be permitted to start work until this documentation is provided. If you are under the age of 18, you will be required to furnish a completed Work Permit before you can begin your employment with the 22nd DAA. You can obtain a Work Permit from the school/school district you are attending.

San Diego County Fair workers: You may apply for your PST Refund beginning 90 days after your last paycheck.
