The San Diego County Fair is over for 2009. We had tons of fun, and we hope you did, too! When we have information about the 2010 Fair, we will start to post it here.
 2009 Dates
The dates for the 2010 San Diego County Fair are Friday, June 11, through Monday, July 5, closed three Mondays, June 14, 21 and 28.
Special Events and Special Days
Tuesdays: Kids' Day (kids 12 and younger admitted free) and Taste of the Fair Tuesday (taster portions for $2 at most food booths)
Wednesdays: Pepsi Pay-One-Price Ride Day
Thursdays: Pepsi Pay-One-Price Ride Day and Seniors' Day
Fridays: PennySaver Value Day (coupon book with Fair savings)
Saturdays: various festivals
Sundays: D÷a de la Familia (Mexican-themed entertainment and activities).

Cash and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express) are accepted for admission, ride and concert tickets. Some food and vendor booths also accept credit cards. Several ATM machines are placed throughout the Fair.
If you would like to leave the Fair and return the same day, get your hand stamped as you leave. If you leave a paid parking lot, you will need to pay again when you return.
Parking and Public Transportation
$10.00 per vehicle ($15.00 for RVs) in the Fair's paid parking lots. Free parking and shuttle service is available every day at Horsepark, two miles east of the Fairgrounds. On weekends and Friday, July 3, free parking and shuttle service is available at MiraCosta College's San Elijo campus and Torrey Pines High School. Please see the Parking page for full information.

All buildings and exhibits open: 11:00AM, Monday-Friday (the Fair is closed two of three Mondays); 10:00AM Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 5
Closing times:
Shopping buildings, Flower and Garden Show exhibit, Design in Wood, Gems and Minerals, Home and Hobby, Student Showcase, Art and Photo: 11:00PM Friday and Saturday; 10:00PM other nights.
AgriFair and Livestock exhibits: 10:00PM every night.
Kids' Best: 9:00PM every night.
The Fun Zone and Kiddieland
Opens 10:00AM Saturdays and Sundays; noon other days
Kiddieland closes: Approximately 11:00PM Friday and Saturday; approximately 10:00PM other nights.
Fun Zone closes: Approximately midnight Friday and Saturday; approximately 11:00PM other nights.
