 Be a Part of the Fair: Commercial Space
Thank you for your interest in Commercial and Food space at the 2010 San Diego County Fair. The application period for new vendors for the 2010 Fair has ended.
2010 Fair Dates:
Friday, June 11, through Monday, July 5. The Fair will be closed on three Mondays: June 14, 21 and 28.
Application Process:
Applications for vendor space are no longer being accepted. The application period for the 2011 Fair will be early December through early March.
Fair Vendor Operating Hours (subject to change):
11:00AM to 10:00PM Mondays through Thursdays
11:00AM to 11:00PM Fridays
10:00AM to 11:00PM Saturdays
10:00AM to 10:00PM Sundays
The Fun Zone and the grounds close nightly at approximately midnight. Fair exhibit and vendor buildings traditionally stay open until midnight on July 4.

 Wi-Fi is available at Del Mar Fairgrounds. Process your credit card transactions in a few seconds. Access your corporate network, do video transmissions, access online catalogs.

Rates
Commercial Space Rental Rates
Spaces are sold in 10x10 increments and are for the entire run of the Fair. Spaces range in cost from $990-$3,200. Location is determined by management in order to keep a good product balance throughout the Fairgrounds.
Food Concessionaire Rates
Food concessionaires pay a $1,500 minimum guarantee and/or 25 percent of gross sales (24 percent in some locations), whichever is greater. Location is determined by management in order to keep a good product balance throughout the Fairgrounds.
Selection:
All applications go through a selection process (not a first-come, first-served basis). A selection committee reviews applications and makes selections based on the following criteria:
- Product balance within the Fairgrounds
- Uniqueness and appeal of product
- Space availability
- Ability to set up a professional, attractive display
- Application presentation
- Financial responsibility
RV Parking, Hotels & Other Housing Information
If you receive booth space at the Fair, you will receive information about RV parking and hotels with your contract. You may want to take a look at the Vacation Planner on the Del Mar Fairgrounds corporate Web site for a list of hotels, camping facilities and attractions in the area.
