Grammy award winning superstar group Intocable (Untouchable) is a Tejano/Norteño musical group from Zapata, Texas that was started by friends Ricky Muñoz and René Martínez in the early '90s.
Within a couple years as a band, Intocable had already risen to the top of the Tejano and Norteño fields with a musical signature that had fused Tejano's robust conjunto and Norteño folk rhythms with a pop balladry.

El Trono de México began when four Mexican youngsters who worked to earn a living in North Carolina got together around 2002 to play music for several events organized by Mexican community in the U.S. By 2004, the group formally started their musical careers under the name of “El Trono de Mexico” (Mexico’s Throne).
Their debut album, “Soy Dos Veces Mexicano” (I’m twice Mexican), got them recognition in the vastly competitive Durangense genre, which at the time was big in the States but just about to get much bigger in Mexico.
Their first hits were “Silueta de Cristal” (Crystal Silhouette), and “Miñeca Ojos de Miel” (Hazel Eye Doll). Their 2006 album, “El Muchacho Alegre” (The Happy Guy), made the top ten lists on both sides of the border.
Currently, Intocable could very well be the most influential group in Tejano, and their tough Tejano/Norteño fusion has become the blueprint for dozens of Tex-Mex groups.
