 Special Days: Seniors' Day
The San Diego County Fair is over for 2009. We had tons of fun, and we hope you did, too! We have left the information about the 2009 Fair on the Web site so that you'll have an idea of what it's all about. Much of this information will disappear at the end of 2009 when we will have the re-designed Web site featuring the 2010 Fair theme. Please check back in April or May, 2010, for updated information on activities at the 2010 San Diego County Fair.
Every Thursday of the Fair is filled with special events, contests and entertainment designed to appeal to older Fairgoers.
Discount admission for ages 62 and older
Those aged 62 and older are admitted to the Fair for $7.00 - not just on Thursdays, but every day! (Regular adult admission is $13.00.)
Solid Gold Series
This series each Thursday features entertainers whose timeless hits first became popular during the 1960s and 1970s. Solid Gold shows in 2009 will be at 2:00PM each Thursday. There is no reserved seating. The Music of ABBA, a tribute show, will be July 2.
