Commotion by the Ocean Motorcycle Ride to the Fair

More than 230 riders participated in the seventh annual ride and competition at the 2009 San Diego County Fair on Saturday, June 20. Winners of the fun bike competitions were:

• People’s Choice — awarded to Jinx Guide, Temecula
• Most Chrome — awarded to Martin Fogata, Santee
• Best Custom Bike — awarded to Juan Rivera, Del Mar
• Best Paint Job — awarded to David Noe, San Diego
• Best Lady’s Bike — awarded to Lisa Shutt, Temecula

We have left the information about the 2009 event so that if you were inspired to ride in 2010, you'll have an idea of what it's all about. Please check back about April, 2010, for information about the 2010 ride!

It's time for all motorcycle enthusiasts to gear up for the seventh annual ride and competition at the 2009 San Diego County Fair!

Ride date: Saturday, June 20

Registration deadline and cost: June 1 postmark to get the $12.00 entry fee; $20.00 day of the ride.

Other information:

• Limited to the first 300 riders to register.



• Active-duty military will have their fee waived. See entry form for details.



• Check-in is from 8:30-9:30AM at Biggs Harley-Davidson Shop located at 717 Center Dr., San Marcos. This is the only place you can get your Fair admission wristband.



• Fee includes motorcycle parking, Fair admission for driver and passenger, a ride pin, a participation ribbon and entry in any or all of the fun bike competitions that include Best Paint Job, Most Chrome, Best Custom Bike, Best Lady's Bike, and "People's Choice," selected by Fairgoers that day.
