Special Events: Car Shows

The San Diego County Fair is over for 2009. We had tons of fun, and we hope you did, too! We have left the information about the 2009 Fair on the Web site so that you'll have an idea of what it's all about. Much of this information will disappear at the end of 2009 when we will have the re-designed Web site featuring the 2010 Fair theme. Please check back in April or May, 2010, for updated information on activities at the 2010 San Diego County Fair.

Some of the coolest cars ever made — woodies, muscle cars and hot rods — will be displayed every day just inside the Arena Gate. These shows, from the Fair's opening hour to 3:00PM, feature specialty cars of some of the region's most active car clubs.

Right next to the car shows in the Chevrolet Del Mar Arena from June 28 to July 5, it's "Motorsports Week," with demolition derbies, beach buggies, transformers and monster trucks. Details on these events are on the Chevrolet Del Mar Arena page.
