 Performance Contests:
San Diego A Cappella Festival
The 2009 San Diego A Cappella Festival is now over, and it was fantastic! Winners are:
- First Place: Down 4 The Count, Camarillo, CA (Jazz Ensemble)
- Second Place: Evolution, Los Angeles, CA (Male Vocal Rock)
- Stellar, San Diego, CA (Inspirational Pop, Rock, Country, Gospel, Dance and Musical Theater songs)
We have left the information about the 2009 event so that if you were inspired to enter in 2010, you'll have an idea of what it's all about. Please check back about April, 2010, for information about the 2010 A Cappella Festival!
Groups of 3 to 10 members vie for cash prizes and regional recognition in the San Diego A Cappella Festival. These groups sing, without the help of instruments or background music, in many different styles (i.e. barbershop, jazz vocal, collegiate, etc).
Date of contest: Sunday, June 21, 2009
Time and location: 5:00-7:00PM, Plaza Stage
Entry deadline: Registration for this contest closed May 15.

Please note:
The contest is open to all Continental United States and Baja California residents.
Groups must be 3 to 10 members.
A parent or guardian, 21 or older, must accompany entrants 17 and younger.
Performances and attire must be suitable for family viewing.

Prizes:
First place, $1,000.00
Second place, $500.00
Third place, $250.00
