 Rides and Games
It's just not a County Fair without rides and games, and the San Diego County Fair has the best. The Fun Zone has 39 exciting rides, Kiddieland has more than 40, and you'll find nearly 40 different types of games of skill in both locations.
Hours
Fun Zone:
Opens: 11:00AM, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday, July 5; noon other days
Closes: Approximately midnight, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday, July 4; approximately 11:00PM other nights
Kiddieland:
Opens: 11:00AM, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday, July 5; noon other days
Closes: Approximately 11:00PM, Fridays and Saturdays; approximately 10:00PM other nights
Ride coupon prices
Most rides require 3-6 coupons. On certain rides and attractions, the rider pays directly. At the Fair ride coupon booths, you can buy the following: Single ride coupon, 75 cents; 14 coupons, $10.00 (71 cents each); 30 coupons, $20.00 (66 cents each); 77 coupons, $50.00 (65 cents each).

Please note this regarding footwear: Some rides require that riders be wearing closed-toe and -heel shoes, such as sneakers. On other rides, riders will need to remove shoes not secured by a strap.
